Building Surveyor

Grade PO4, £39,774 - £42,684 pa

You’ll be leading on building surveys across Newham, taking on a complex portfolio and managing both our construction project team as well as all on-site contractors. It’s a central role that makes for diverse and challenging work – you’ll deal with everything from technical advice to tenders, compliance, briefings and the surveys themselves. On top of this, you’ll chair team meetings and manage key relationships with our contractors to make sure our projects run smoothly and achieve true value for money.

At OneSource we’re constantly pushing our services to achieve the highest standards and the best outcomes for our customers. You’ll play a crucial part in this as you get the most of out our complex construction projects while encouraging innovation and collaboration across our teams.

What you’ll bring to the table is sound experience across surveying, project management, contract negotiation and stakeholder management. You’ll combine this with a detailed technical knowledge of surveying techniques as well as a flexible working approach and excellent communication skills.
