Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who would like to join us as a Finance Team Manager and further their career in finance.
The Finance Team Manager will work in our Communities Team within the council's financial strategy team.
You will be the leadership hub of a busy, professional team with management responsibility for four staff as part of a wider team of twelve.
The team provides a comprehensive business partnering service to four service directorates (Resources, Commercial, Fire & Public Protection and Corporate) encompassing both management and financial accounting functions.
These include budget monitoring, budget setting and closure of service accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a professional and organised approach to work, be well versed in financial practices and hold a relevant accounting qualification (AAT or above).
Strong leadership skills are essential as you will play a key role in the continuing development of the team in an ever changing environment alongside the ability to communicate to staff and management at all levels.
You should possess strong analytical and ICT skills (particularly excel) and have experience of working with accounting based systems.
You will be leading an experienced and dedicated team that has been together for several years. The team work well together with complimentary skill sets.
