We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking and enthusiastic individual to join a small but growing function as a Procurement Officer in the West of England Combined Authority.
Working within the Procurement function part of the Corporate Services Directorate, the role will report to the Procurement Business Partner and will involve delivery of an efficient and effective exemplary Procurement service for a wide range of services across the Authority.
The post holder will actively contribute to the delivery of the Procurement Strategy, provide guidance, support, and often lead in a range of procurements to our customers in the organisation. You will have experience in working closely with a wide range of stakeholders and be confident to constructively challenge to ensure we deliver, fair, transparent and value for money solutions. You should work well as part of a small team and alone.
This role would be ideal for a talented Procurement professional who is looking to further their career and contribute to making a difference to the West of England. You may be part CIPS qualified or prepared to start your CIPS qualification with encouragement from a supportive organisation.
This is an 18 months fixed term role.
