Job Title: Management Development Officer
Salary Range: £31,371 pa progressing to £33,799 pa
Hours: 37 hrs per week
Working as a member of the training and development team, the main purpose of this role is to support the identification and development of learning programmes and solutions to support delivery of the Fire & Rescue Service People strategy.
As the Management Development Officer, you will work with trainers and assessors to support the delivery and assessment of high-quality management training. You will play an integral part in the further development of our ‘Career Pathway’ assessment process and support the continued assurance of our qualification delivery.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and resilient individual, able to respond quickly to the evolving needs of the department. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a training and development environment and a working knowledge of leadership & management training. An understanding of competency based training and regulated qualifications is desirable
In addition, you will have excellent communication and IT skills as you will record data on relevant management information systems, producing reports and correspondence as required.
You will be required to travel across the county so access to a vehicle is essential.
