Job Title: Technical Officer

Salary Range: £26,999 to £29,636
The Hertfordshire Home Improvement Agency (HHIA) provides disabled adaptations to people’s homes throughout 5 Districts in Hertfordshire.
Delivery of Adaptations includes surveying, design including use of CAD or Visio, procurement of works via schedule of rates and Tendering process along with management of contractors.
The HHIA prides itself on delivering a high quality service tailored to our client’s needs.
Working as part of a busy multiskilled team, you will be self-motivated, professional and approachable providing excellent customer service.
You will have attention to detail and experience of working with Auto Cad to deliver bespoke property designs and adaptations.
You will have experience of negotiating with and managing contractors and be able to where necessary liaise effectively with client representatives such as OT and social worker teams.
You will also have knowledge and experience of H&S requirements, building regulations and standards as applied to adaptations and the equalities act.
