About the role
The role is based in Service Delivery, which is the provider arm of the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care directorate. Service Delivery provides direct care to individuals living in their own homes and in-house residential establishments across the county. The service is registered with the Quality Care Commission (CQC) and works in accordance with good practice guidance and standards.

Activities Co-ordinators organise and carry out a range of activities both within our older people’s homes and where appropriate outside, which promote life skills and social, physical and intellectual wellbeing for older frail individuals and/or people with dementia.
Working within a care home setting you will use your motivated personality and practical skillset to understand and plan the types of activities older people enjoy and will be able to engage and motivate them.
Caring skills are imperative to enable you to provide practical and emotional support to our residents and their families.
