We are currently recruiting four motivated and enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our team on a causal basis to provide Short Breaks for children and young people with autism, learning difficulties and complex health needs.

In order to succeed you will need to be-

Caring and organised with experience of supporting Children and Young People with learning disabilities, ideally in a similar setting.

Able to communicate with a range of audiences including children, families and other social care professionals.

Essential qualifications/experience-

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Equivalent) or willingness to work towards achieving this.

Demonstrable ability to use written, oral and communication skills to present varied information in an understandable way.

The ability to work independently and use own initiative to deal with straightforward situations, referring to line manager for unusual or difficult problems.

Demonstrable ability to carry out tasks which impact on the wellbeing of people, including assessing needs and implementing of care plans.
