We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Environmental Enforcement Team.  The post holder will support in improving the district and assist in the effective delivery of the environmental patrol function, (Dog Control, dog fouling, littering, fly tipping, waste out early, community protection etc) in accordance with all relevant statutes, guidance, policies and procedures .

The successful candidate will need to be able to:
• Handle difficult situations and confrontation
• Keep calm under pressure
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to work as part of a team or by themselves

Above all else, if you have a genuine interest within Environmental Enforcement and you are excited about the opportunity to get out in the district and make a difference, whilst enjoying a challenge and are motivated by results, then we want to hear from you.
The 37 hours will be worked on a shift basis between 07.00 hours and 19.00 hours, 7 days per week.  Work outside these hours may be required from time to time for targeted operations.
