£18,065 to £18,426 per annum, pro rata
18.5 Hours Per Week – Wednesday afternoon only, and
all day Thursday and Friday (job share post)
Working in the Resources Department, you will be assisting the payments team by entering payments to be made to our suppliers on to the computer system, entering information for the raising of invoices so that we can collect income due to the council, and also entering data on to the payroll system to help in the payment of all staff and councillors.
Additionally you will be undertaking various other clerical duties such as filing, distributing management information and scanning copies of the various documents that we use in processing payments on to our computer systems.
Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent, with a good standard of literacy and numeracy, you will need strong keyboard and computer skills. Previous experience in a clerical role is essential and knowledge of Civica Authority Financials, or computerised accounts systems, would be advantageous.
