This is an exciting opportunity to join our insurance team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, proactive, forward thinking and committed to making improvements to reduce the number of claims made against the Council.
As Insurance Officer you will provide a high quality customer focused home contents insurance scheme and be motivated to contribute to team targets and performance. You will maintain regular contact with customers in arrears, and take a proactive approach to increasing the take up of the scheme. You will investigate claims, giving views on liability to insurers and work to reduce such claims presenting.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of dealing with the public, excellent organisation skills and the ability to develop working relationships across the council.
