About the role
Stanford Junior School is looking to appoint a number of teaching assistants to fulfil a variety of roles across the school from September 2020. We are looking for reliable, committed and enthusiastic staff who value their own professional development, enjoy working supportively with colleagues and, most importantly, are determined to add value to children’s school experiences.
The successful candidates will be allocated to individual children, or to work with named children across the school to support the work of our learning mentor, or to perform general TA duties across a year group.
We are looking for staff who are willing and able to support the wider life of the school, including attending residential trips and visits, running after school clubs (staff who are interested in running a club are paid to do so) and upholding the school’s ethos and vision for children. We will be interested to hear what you can bring to our school and, during the interview process, will want you to demonstrate the skills, energy and passion required to enable our school to secure even better outcomes for children.
We can offer you…
a supportive senior leadership team; opportunities to further your practice; well-behaved, polite and ambitious children who are keen to learn; an opportunity to join a talented and passionate staff team; a committed governing body.
This is an exciting opportunity and we look forward to welcoming prospective applicants to our school.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
