If the child is absent, support will be given to other children as required.

To become part of our fabulous team of Learning Support Assistants and Individual Needs Assistants, you will need to:

  • Actively encourage learners to be as independent as possible, encouraging them to fulfil their potential and promoting their self-esteem and happiness.
  • Establish and maintain constructive relationships with parents/carers/support workers/other professionals using appropriate methods of communication.
  • Be aware of and comply with, policies and procedures relating to child protection, safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and conduct yourself professionally at all times.
  • Show willingness to research and attend training to further develop skills.
  • Support learners on school trips and wider school activities.
  • Demonstrate the vision and values of the school in everyday work and practice.

We will offer:

  • Happy, well-behaved children with positive attitudes to learning and school.
  • A hard-working and friendly staff team with a shared desire to be the best they can be.

We highly recommend a visit to the school, so that you can experience first-hand our fabulous children, learning environment and dedicated team. This is also an opportunity to discuss the post in more detail and ask any questions.
