Job Title: Support Officer
Location: County Hall, Hertford
Salary Range: £19,171 - £20,344 pa
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term - Until 31st March 2021

Job Duties:

Families First is a key priority for Children’s Services to deliver a co-ordinated early help offer for children and families across Hertfordshire. The concept is a seamless partnership approach across 9 district Hubs.  The Hub is an overarching term to articulate how local early help is provided in a coordinated way; it is not about establishing different teams or physical locations.

We are recruiting to a Support Officer role. The postholder will provide business and administrative support to the Families First Partnership and Implementation Team (FFP&I), Families First Evaluation and Development Team (FFE&D) and the Head of Early Help & Intensive Family Support.

We are looking for a highly motivated administrator who is enthusiastic, organised and committed to providing efficient and effective support to the teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, literacy and interpersonal skills.  A good telephone manner is essential as this role will be the first point of contact in dealing with confidential and sensitive calls from a range of partners and internal staff.  You will have experience in diary management and minute-taking and producing documents using MS Office.  There is a strong element of minute taking, organisation and coordination of meetings, including partnership meetings.

You will be self-motivated, professional and approachable and must be willing to undertake a variety of administrative tasks.
