Qualified Social Workers - Fostering Service - secondment/temporary cover for up to 1 year to cover maternity
Main Grade: £28,785 to £31,370 p.a, pro rata (£10,891 - £11,869 for 14 hours) + recruitment & retention package of £5000 over 6 years.
Higher Grade: £34,787 - £38,813 p.a. pro rata (£13,162 - £14,686)

Your New Role
We are seeking a qualified and suitably experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering Service. This is an ideal opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the fostering sector. You will have the autonomy and responsibility to really make a difference.
We currently have opportunities for social workers in the following areas:
- assessment of 'connected persons' as both foster carers and Special Guardians.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified social worker and be registered with Social Work England. You will have suitable post qualifying experience in children and families work - experience of working with looked after children and foster carers would be an advantage and an understanding of models of therapeutic parenting.
