Your New Role

Within the Regeneration Directorate, you will work within the Strategic Development Team supporting the Bid Manager to identify and qualify new funding opportunities, ensuring they are viable and in-line with the directorate's priorities. You will collate relevant data/information in order to provide robust responses against the bid criteria and work with colleagues across all directorates and other stakeholder groups. You will identify appropriate stakeholders who need to be informed of bids and support the process of buy-in/letters of support to strengthen bids.

 

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be degree educated or have the equivalent experience, as well as hold a project management qualification or relevant experience. You will need to show your experience in bidding, grant writing or business development, along with project management experience or project knowledge. You will be able to use Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally Microsoft Project. You will be organised and have excellent research skills, along with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
