We are currently looking for motivated and skilled Family Intervention Workers to join one of our teams working directly with families across the county.

We want to empower families with multiple and complex needs to achieve better outcomes and prevent the escalation of issues they face.  Intensive Family Support Teams, which incorporates the Government’s Troubled Families initiative, provides a safe and effective multi-agency service, which responds quickly and intensively to families’ needs.

In this role you will be responsible for a caseload of families delivering 1-1 and group based interventions to them in partnership with other agencies in Hertfordshire.  Through this support it is intended that families will achieve sustainable improved outcomes underpinned by an agreed plan.

This is a challenging and rewarding role working directly with families to influence and enable improvements in their lives.

To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience of working intensively and assessing families from a range of backgrounds and disciplines, multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, resilience and good judgement and problem-solving skills. Applicants must also have a full valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for business purposes.

Please note, possible additional funding may result in the role being extended.
