Team Leader- Portsmouth Youth Offending Team (PYOT) - secondment/temporary opportunity for up to 2 years to cover a period of secondment.
(You will be required to work occasional Saturday/Bank Holiday mornings via rota and could be required to work some evenings at times).

Your New Role
The YOT are a multi-disciplinary, partnership organisation that works both within Children and Families Services and the wider Youth Justice System. The YOT has one over-riding aim which is to prevent offending and reoffending behaviour by children and young people (10 – 17 years of age).
The team requires an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Team Leader who would enjoy the challenge of working in this important service for Portsmouth’s children. What you'll need to succeed
As well as a diploma/degree/MSC/Professional qualification in a relevant field you will have substantial post qualification experience of working with children in a similar field. You will understand the causes and complexities of youth crime and work in partnership with others to reduce it.
