Ambitious, Innovative, Enabling, Inclusive social workers change futures for children, young people and families in North Somerset
In North Somerset we are committed to developing effective and supportive Community Family Team’s providing high quality effective social work interventions.
Our Community Family Teams are made up of consultant social work practitioners, social workers, young person support workers, family support workers as well as a Learning Pod of ASYE’s and students. The work is varied and caseloads, whilst small, consist of child in need, children in need of protection, care proceedings and adoption. We believe that by remaining involved throughout the journey you will experience job satisfaction as well as providing better outcomes for the child and their family.
As a consultant social work practitioner you will be working in small teams with supportive managers and colleagues, where you can really get involved with children and families and help them change their future? You would need to hold extensive experience working with children and young people and have the motivation and potential to thrive and improve your skills through continuous professional development.
