New Directions College is Reading Borough Council’s Community Learning and Skills service.  This year we’re celebrating 62 years of Adult Learning in Reading.

We’re a small friendly team with an ambitious plan for the future.  At New Directions we pride ourselves on not turning people away and helping individuals progress on their journey whatever their personal goals.

Ofsted judged the service as ‘Good’ in 2011, 2015 and 2019.


About The Role
We’re seeking a talented and results driven Digital Skills Tutor to support the delivery of our networking and maintenance programme and the basic foundation digital skills offer.

You will be required to work up to 22.2hrs per week, including 1 evening per week.

You should have relevant industry experience that makes you occupationally competent to deliver up to and including Level 3 qualifications.

With fantastic opportunities for growth and development, this role would suit an IT professional who is looking for flexible working in and around Reading.

We are rolling out a new digital skills programme starting this year, so this is an ideal opportunity to join us whilst we shape and grow our offer.
