About the job
The Apprenticeship Development Advisor will be joining the council at an exciting time; supporting Islington Council’s apprenticeship team to develop and grow the apprenticeship provision for both new and existing employees within the council and local authority maintained schools. The Apprenticeship Development Advisor will drive recruitment processes, supporting managers from creating opportunities to appointment and will implement a wrap-around development package to enable apprentices to integrate into the workforce, perform effectively in their roles and achieve their potential. This work is important in developing the skills the council needs to deliver future priorities and sits at the heart of a vibrant Human Resources department.
