Tenancy Assistants are at the frontline of our high-quality, innovative housing services: working closely with tenants and leaseholders to ensure our communities are safe, happy and sustainable places to live.
We are looking for someone who can assist in the delivery of high-quality tenancy services including tenancy sustainment, enforcement and involvement. You will ensure relevant legislation and good practice is followed and work alongside other agencies to support our tenants.
We would ideally be looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years working in social housing or a similar environment and a similar amount of experience in dealing with members of the public; you will also have experience of inter-agency relationships, organizing and delivering presentations and hold a CIH level 3 qualification or equivalent in an appropriate discipline.
You will need to be able to travel within the district and have daily access to a car. This post is also subject to a basic DBS check.
We require post holders to work flexibly in this role to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
