About the role

Wivelsfield School is looking for a part time Individual Needs Assistant,  ideally to work 3 or 4 days each week. You would be supporting  a child in KS2 who needs lots of help to join in learning and other school activities.   Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is ideal. 
 
The school is single form entry. It  benefits from spacious modern premises, with  extensive  grounds and is situated in the heart of the village, near both Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.  We are a very popular, oversubscribed school and pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming with a strong ‘community ethos'.
This position is fixed term until the end of July 2021.
 
Hours are between 8.40 am and 3.20 pm.  The days and pattern of hours worked can be  flexible.
Actual salary is £9,462.
