About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice to work as part of a friendly and supportive team. You will be the first point of contact for the school and will support the Business Manager in a variety of administrative tasks.
 
The successful candidate will:

- Have the ability to effectively organise their own workload
- Have the ability to check for accuracy and give attention to detail
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and converse at ease with parents, carers, children and other stakeholders
- Be committed and reliable, well-organised and have a positive and productive    outlook.
 
The apprenticeship will be made up of practical employment experience whilst having an education programme that will lead on to a nationally recognised qualification. Observation and assessment will take place throughout the term of the apprenticeship to build upon your levels of understanding leading toward your qualification.
 
Hankham Primary School is a happy, dynamic school situated in a delightful rural setting.  The school caters for children aged 4 to 11 years of age. At present we have 140 children on roll.
 
This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. 
 
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision.  Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. 

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
