This is an exciting new role within the authority and provides a fantastic opportunity to help improve the open spaces and appearance of the district by raising awareness of Environmental Crime regulations and taking enforcement action where necessary.

The role will help to tackle fly tipping, fly posting, graffiti and abandoned vehicles and work to reduce the impact on the district. You should have a proven ability to communicate and work well with a range of different people who work within the public and private sector, have an eye for detail, be able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving with good investigation skills.

Where are we based?

The Main Council Offices are in a lovely little village called Narborough in Leicestershire which is just 3 miles from the M1, junction 21 and not far from the centre of Leicester. The local train station is only a 5 minutes walk away and there are regular bus links to and from the city centre.
