Food & Safety Officer
Permanent - 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade G £29,260 per annum (starting point)
Based in Sittingbourne, Kent
Mid Kent Environmental Health is an ambitious partnership and we are looking for a forward thinking dynamic Officer to join our Food and Safety Team. The candidate will be competent to undertake official controls as part of a team dealing with food and ideally health and safety.
You will predominately work across two of the three authority boundaries within our partnership investigating complaints, undertaking inspections of our many diverse approved premises in line with regulatory requirements. You will be a strong team player with a positive outlook and excellent communication and IT skills within the work setting and wider community.
In taking on this exciting role you will be part of a large, experienced team working to deliver services to make the boroughs a safer place to work, live and visit. You will help maintain a level playing field across the partnership in which businesses can thrive.
