Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The school is consistently oversubscribed and has a genuinely comprehensive intake.  The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint:

A well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic temporary, full-time, Teacher of Music with the ability to teach music technology.  Music is an integral part of the vibrant Visual & Performing Arts Curriculum Area that also includes Art, Photography, Dance and Drama.

A successful candidate will have the imagination, commitment and enthusiasm to challenge and inspire students to enjoy the study and performance of music.  Singing and keyboard or piano skills are desirable as well as familiarity in teaching music technology.  Annual musical productions and a rich extra-curricular programme are well established and a successful candidate will be expected to build on this.  An ability to teach KS3 and KS4 is essential.

This is a temporary, full-time position to start in September 2020 until 31 August 2021.  The salary range is Teachers Main/Upper Pay Scale, £24,373 to £40,490.
