North Somerset Council’s Children’s Centres and Family Hubs are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Community Services Officer to work in our Parenting and Early Help team based in Weston-super-Mare, it will also include working across all North Somerset Children’s Centres and Family Hubs to support Children’s Centre Community Services Officers. This post will provide dedicated administrative support to the Parenting and Early Help team, who work with children and families.
You will need:
Excellent communication and customer care skills
Significant experience of a range of IT systems, including significant experience of Excel
A broad knowledge and understanding of administrative systems
To be able to work independently to resolve problems and queries, and meet deadlines
Previous administrative and accounts experience
Ability to work with confidential information
Deal with administrative tasks for parenting programmes and Early Help work
Work in a Children Centre environment, where children and families attend
Work in partnership with the Children Centre and Hub team, parents and carers to offer an accessible and welcoming environment
Work as part of the team, with partner agencies and community groups
Support the quality of service provision
