They work to promote independence within a secure, safe, caring environment, ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect and as individuals. About the role
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our dedicated team in providing high quality personal, practical and emotional support to our residents. Applicants will need to have an understanding and empathy for people with dementia whether this has been gained through working with people with dementia or personal experience.
We are seeking passionate Residential and Day Care Officers to join our team who will make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and service users. We encourage our residents to participate in the matters that affect them so that they can lead active, dignified lives within a secure and responsive environment. Creating the home-like atmosphere in which we pride ourselves depends greatly on all the people who work in our staff teams.
You will work as part of one of those teams to help residents achieve their full potential, using the everyday life skills that you already possess and which you can put to good use regardless of your age or background.
We provide a high standard of care for our day centre clients ensuring that they lead active and dignified lives in a friendly home environment. If you are applying for the day care officer job we are seeking candidates who are passionate about leading and creating activities which will engage the residents / clients.
You will receive full training and we offer a supportive working environment. You must hold an NVQ level 2 in care qualification. A genuine regard and respect for older people with Dementia and a sense of humour and flexibility are essential to be successful in this role
