Social Work Assistant, Children’s Social Care
Contract: Permanent, Part time (18.5 hours per week)
Salary: £26,999 - £28,785 pro rata

What we’re looking for……..
We want to hear from dedicated, motivated people who want to develop their career with us. You will have extensive experience of working with children and families in the community, along with demonstrable understanding of child development and the dynamics of family relationships and attachments.
You will be able to observe and assess the behaviour and interactions of children and their families, assessing risk and feeding concerns to qualified staff as appropriate, working as an effective part of the team. You’re a clear communicator, with the ability to explain complicated information simply, and highly skilled in persuading, empowering and motivating families.

We offer manageable caseloads, learning events, training, and regular reflective supervision to focus on you.
