Health Improvement Officer (Substance Misuse and Mental Health)
£38,799 - £41,706 per annum plus an annually reviewable market supplement of up to £5,808
This is an exciting opportunity to join Merton Council and its friendly and dynamic public health team. The post holder will lead on the operational commissioning, performance management and development of key public health programmes, specifically around Substance Misuse and Mental Health and will coordinate and service the ‘life-course’ Substance Misuse Partnership Board and key related work streams.
This is a high profile position and the post holder will develop and maintain key partnerships within the council and with external partners to improve substance misuse and mental health services in Merton. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously on a number of strategically important programmes and will have a depth and breadth of knowledge across Substance Misuse and Mental Health.
