About the Post:
An opportunity has arisen to join the diverse and multi skilled Business Support Service in Barnsley Council as a Business Support Officer.
The role will provide business support activities for the Stronger Communities service including responding to telephone and face to face enquiries, data inputting, providing advice, guidance, signposting and support to internal and external customers and providing support to the wider services.
You will need to hold a level 2 qualification and have a business support background.
You will be flexible in your approach in order to ensure the overall service objectives are achieved, be an excellent team player and willing to make a solid contribution to the smooth running of the service.
In return, you will be provided with training and opportunities to progress your continuous personal development in line with the requirements of the role, together with support from your Team Leader and colleagues in an enthusiastic and dedicated team.
