Advanced Social Worker, Complex Care, Halton Borough Council (£34,788-£37,849)

The complex Care Teams Widnes and Runcorn are adult social care teams responsible for the delivery of social work and care management for adults over the age of 18 (learing disabilities, physical disabilities, and older people).

This role will focus on development of practice relating to Continuing Health Care.

As an Advanced Social Worker working within care management services across the borough you will have the opportunity to develop working practices that will have a long term benefit to the adults using services and social work teams serving them. You will be responsible for social work support into Decision Support Tools for complex cases while also supporting the development of best practice in adult social services with the support of the Operational Lead for continuing health care in Halton Borough Council.

You will coordinate complex meetings, use your leadership and influencing skills to ensure best practice is embedded both in the working practices of social work staff across the borough while developing relationships with health colleagues.

You will receive a car user allowance, access to a subsidised car lease scheme and a flexible working week. You will receive up to 32 days annual leave per annum and access to excellent management training opportunities.
