Job Title: Enablement Occupational Therapist
Salary Range: £26,999 - £38,813 pa (pro rata)
Hours: 37 per week

We hold the view that it is not enough to enable an individual to transfer out of bed, but it is essential to ensure there is a reason to get out of bed and make that happen too. Ensuring individuals participate in meaningful occupations is a key goal.
We are seeking an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to increase our successful Enablement Occupational Therapy provision. You will be a confident, creative Occupational Therapist with strong communication skills adopting a strength-based approach.
Working with adults aged 18 – 65 with learning and physical disabilities, in collaboration with case workers and care providers including bed-based settings you will deliver on positive outcomes for individuals in line with our core strategies around ConnectedLives and Occupational Justice. Whilst you will offer equipment and adaptation solutions to enable individuals the core role will be to work with people to identify their goals, utilise your skills in assessment, activity analysis and goal setting and implementing creative and innovative graded programmes and interventions focusing on occupation.
This is a permanent position within the Adult Disability Service but the specialised role as an Enablement Occupational Therapist will be for an initial 12-month period.
You will part of a highly regarded county wide service under the professional oversight of the Principal Occupational Therapist for Adult Care Services.
