Job Title: Apprenticeship Development Officer
Salary Range: £31,371 pa to £33,799 pro rata
Hours: 22.2 hrs per week
Contract: 18 Months Fixed Term/Secondment
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably dynamic and development focussed individual to work in the Fire & Rescue Service Training Team to further develop the Apprenticeship programme. As the number of apprentices increases there is a requirement to support their training and development leading to achievement at end point assessment.
The successful candidate will possess strong planning, communication and quality assurance skills to ensure the project is delivered to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. Have a working knowledge of operational firefighter training, an understanding of the Firefighter Apprenticeship Standard and the requirements of End Point Assessment. In addition, an understanding of National Operational Guidance would be desirable.
