Maternity Cover - Fixed Term Contract up to 12 Months -
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated full time Housing Officer to be a member of a small but busy team dealing with all aspects of Housing Management. This post is for up to 12 months maternity cover for an existing member of staff. This is an exciting generic housing officer role with responsibility for tenants transfer and mutual exchange applications, rent arrears recovery, voids and lettings management, tenancy and estate management, complaints, ASB management and resolution as well as liaison with external agencies.
You will be committed to providing a quality service to tenants, have practical knowledge and proven experience of day to day tenancy management, preferably within social housing. You must be able to prioritise workloads and be able to meet deadlines. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Although a relevant housing management qualification would be desirable, relevant experience in a frontline housing management role would be more advantageous.
You need to have a full driving licence and have your own transport for which you will receive an essential car user allowance. You must also be prepared to attend occasional evening meetings.
