If the answers to these questions is ‘yes’, then Gildredge House wants to hear from you. We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Maternity Cover Key Stage 2 Primary Class Teacher (year group 4 or 5) for our 4-19 free school.

Our ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement (November 2018) is a strong foundation on which to build and develop the school. The challenge is to sustain and further improve through every aspect of Gildredge House.

As a Maternity Cover Primary Class Teacher at Gildredge House you will be expected to provide stimulating and academically rigorous teaching, particularly with regard to differentiation for students of different abilities and the increased use of ICT. You will work within the Primary Team to implement the Cambridge Primary Curriculum with key skills at the core, while keeping up-to-date with current developments in content and methods of a creative curriculum. You will also make a full and dynamic contribution to the Primary phase and its extra-curricular activities.

This post will be in Year 4 or 5 and will be for the whole of the academic year September 2020 to August 2021. Therefore, please make clear your preference of Year Group on your Application for Employment Form. If you are successful in becoming a staff member at Gildredge House, we do expect all our staff to develop their skills and actively support this on every occasion.
