The Council is seeking to recruit a member of staff to join its dedicated and professional Lifeline Team. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the effective delivery of Folkestone & Hythe Lifeline by responding to enquiries and requests for installation and advice relating to Telecare Services.
The main duties of this role will include travelling around the district demonstrating, installing and servicing all Telecare products compliant with TSA Service Standard timescales and delivering presentations when required for marketing purposes whilst seeking avenues to promote Lifeline services.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a customer facing environment, general experience of using basic power tools and DIY and an awareness of Telecare and/or Telehealth. The ability to present to small and large groups of professional bodies and potential clients would also be an advantage.
This post will involve occasional out of hours working i.e. occasional weekends and evenings and therefore the post-holder will be expected to be flexible in their approach, with a willingness to work other shifts occasionally should a need be demonstrated.
Appointment to this post is subject to receipt of satisfactory enhanced disclosure check from the Criminal Records Bureau, an Airwaves check and first class references.
