It is an exciting time to join Redbridge Council’s new Rent Recovery Service within Housing Systems and Resources. The service has recently undergone transformation so that it is better equipped to embrace change in response to significant legislative, financial and demographic challenges. We are now looking to recruit a Rent Recovery Assistant to support us in our vision to secure sustainable housing solutions for all through working in partnership with customers.
About the role
The Rent Recovery Assistant will report to the Rent Recovery Service Manager and provide support to the Head of Housing Systems and Resources. You will be accountable for a broad range of activities from administrative tasks, problem solving and query handling, through to actively contributing to projects within the team. You will also support the Rent Recovery team in the rent recovery process as required, with responsibilities including storing, preparing and providing documentation, paperwork, and information.
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with:
- Experience of providing an excellent level of customer service
- Experience of using initiative and problem solving, particularly in supporting senior managers
- The ability to work to tight timescales and cope with pressures and deadline
- The ability to maintain accurate record systems
- A good working knowledge of a wide range of ICT packages
- Experience of working in a team
