Salary range: £51,450 - £54,597 p.a. inc.
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Predominantly at the CQC registered office but with travel across Brent to satellite offices, the Civic Centre and other locations

The post is within the Community and Wellbeing Directorate and managed within the Urgent Care portfolio of services.
The key areas of focus for the role will be to develop and communicate the strategic plans for Brent’s new reablement services, managing a range of professional and senior care staff within the Care Quality Commission Regulatory Framework and Brent Council’s policies and procedures.
You will be expected to oversee the implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of policies and procedures together with the evaluation of service goals and quality objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement whilst creating and upholding an open, positive and inclusive management culture.
You will be instrumental in developing staff to reach their full potential and for them to feel confident in delivering and monitoring outcome -focused goals for the recipients of services.
The candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in similar environments managing adult social care in a local authority or major independent service organisation or equivalent
The candidate will also need to demonstrate:
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services OR a commitment to achieve this qualification within 12 months
• Registered Manager Qualification or commitment to achieve a Manager’s Qualification within 12 months.
• Demonstrable managerial experience in a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to be responsible for the performance of a large team of staff.
