About the role
Feel rewarded and help someone get back on their feet as you support them through a short rehabilitation programme.
You don’t need any experience, just a desire to make a difference. We will train you on the job, it won’t cost you a penny and there are lots of opportunities to progress.
The aim is to assist people who have had a spell of illness back to independence in their own home. Working alongside other professionals you may initially be providing some personal and intimate care, and giving emotional support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.
There are permanent contracts available ranging from 18 to 30 hours per week, you will be required to have access to a car and to work alternate weekends and a mix of early and late shifts. Full time staff receive 21 days holiday and 2 extra statutory days. After 5 years’ for full time staff this increases to 25 days holiday.. The hourly rate is £10.34.
