West Berkshire Council is seeking an experienced asset management professional to work in our Property Services team, to manage both its operational and commercial estate.
Reporting to the Strategic Assets Team Leader, you will be required to work on your own initiative and manage our local landlord and tenant relationships, granting of licences and wayleaves, advising on property disposals and acquisitions, and managing our external valuation consultants. You will also be a flexible and good team member who can provide property advice and up to date property data to WBC colleagues.
We are looking for an RICS qualified surveyor with at least 5 years’ experience which includes landlord and tenant work as well as asset and insurance valuations.
West Berkshire Council owns a variety of operational and commercial property holdings and the work load will be varied and interesting.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
