We need your help to support our Children and young people in care
During the current coronavirus - could you make a difference to the life of one or more of our 850 children in care?
We’re looking for people to join teams working with our children and have 2 roles for you to consider. Both need you to have experience and skills of working with children and young people and are available on relief basis working part or full time. Staff will benefit from training and induction; the induction will include infection control and other relevant DCC policies and procedures.
As a family resource worker you would support foster carers by spending productive time with the children in their care during the day time and possibly early evening.
As a residential children’s worker you would work in one of our 12 children’s homes, working alongside experienced staff across 24/7.
Please specify if you are interested in one or both roles on your application form, and information on how many hours you could work. Both posts will involve training and so priority will be given to those available for 15 hours per week or more.
We also are seeking people to consider being a foster carer – please do look at
