Derbyshire County Council is urgently looking for people to join our valued care teams helping and supporting some of our vulnerable Derbyshire residents during these unprecedented circumstances.
As a care worker you’ll be part of a team working together to support people either in their home, the community or in one of our own care settings to enable them to maintain their daily lives, including supporting with washing, dressing, toileting and preparing food. You will be fully supported and protected in your role, whilst helping to make a difference to peoples’ lives.
You don’t need previous experience of working in social care, just the desire to help make a difference to someone’s life, as you will receive all the appropriate training, equipment and assistance you need to do the job

You will be expected to travel within reasonable distances to support people in the community that may not be local to you, any travel expenses or mileage will be paid
