Practice Development Manager - Adults
Grade 10 -£49464- £53,544
An exciting opening has arisen to work in the Principal Social Worker service in Havering Adult Social Care. The post holder will work closely with Havering Social Care Academy to further develop innovative development pathways for all social care staff. There will be significant links with Adult Social Care colleagues to embed Better Living – Havering’s 3 conversations practice model within a wider context of strengths based and person centred practice. This post offers the opportunity to work alongside practitioners and managers to improve the effectiveness, quality and reflection in social work practice, and the other disciplines which make up Adult Social Care. The successful candidate will be central to helping cultivate Havering’s evidence base of good practice. The post holder will also support colleagues in quality assurance and audit to ensure there is on-going evaluation of the impact of practice on our residents and that learning is shared and understood across teams in Adult Social Care. There will be opportunities to work with colleagues in the Safeguarding Adult Board to support good practice across the multi-agency partnership.
The post holder must have at least three years’ experience of working at a senior level in Adult Social Care and a clear understanding and practical experience of working to improve quality of practice as well as working with partner agencies to deliver integrated services. The post holder must hold a professional social work qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
