We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker, for the Central group of Children’s Centres. The post will be based at Yeo Valley Children’s Centre and Rural Outreach and will also cover: Clevedon Children’s Centre and Yatton Library and Children’s Centre.  The 18.5 hours will be split over 3 days, Tuesday-Friday.

Children’s Centre Family Support Workers are required to have knowledge and experience of children’s learning and development, for the 0-5 age group and a commitment to supporting families. To ensure the best outcomes for children, successful candidates will be confident in working 1:1 with families as well and in a group setting. Yeo Valley Children’s Centre serves rural communities as well as the local traveller sites; therefore, experience of community engagement would be desirable. Experience of multi agency working and Early help is essential, we work with partner agencies to provide a holistic service to vulnerable families. Family outcomes are recorded using our Early Help Module therefore; competency in the use of ICT is required. Previous applicants need not apply.
