This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join the Finance Service for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The role will provide business and administrative support on a day to day basis to the Finance Directors, the Finance Senior Management Team and the wider Finance team.
This will include:
- Diary management
- Organising meetings and other events
- Coordinate recruitment
- Other transactional tasks such as invoicing
You will be approachable and personable with an organised and efficient work style. You will have a "can do" attitude and be willing get involved in a range of different tasks. You will be expected to take responsibility of your own workload by planning and prioritising tasks appropriately. You will also be expected to be competent in a range of IT tools including email, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Good written and oral communications skills, the ability to build good relationships with colleagues, an understanding of excellent customer service and a proactive approach are also essential for this role.
