We are looking for a new team member to work within Property Services to focus on asset management of educational buildings.
Working closely with the Team Leader and the Scoping Lead your work will involve managing the asset database for the education portfolio as well as providing support on report writing, grant bids, making government returns and keeping up to date on government policy.
The role requires networking and meeting with officers from numerous teams within the Council and some external stakeholders.
This post is responsible for playing a key role in the service delivery of the supporting communities directorate to improve outcomes for children and young people and meet the aims of the Camden Plan.
You will hold a degree level qualification or hold equivalent experience of working in a property department with some experience of educational establishments.
You will have a good understanding of property related school organisation legislation, government school premises standards and statutory/non-statutory guidance. You will have strong organisation, IT and record management skills in order to keep property information in an accessible and up to date format.
You will be a good communicator and be able to work on your own initiative as well a proven track record of working on a number of projects.
