We would like to offer this exciting opportunity of working as an Early Years SEND Advisory Teacher within Children’s Services. This role supports the ambitions of Central Bedfordshire Council through the promotion of collaborative working across partners and ensuring that children and families receive a good service when they need it. We work with a range of Early Years Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinators and other professionals to support children with emerging special needs. Our work is wide ranging and challenging as we work in a child and family focused way with Early Years education and care settings to meet children’s special educational needs. It is an exciting time for the team as from September 2020 we are extending our support to children in school in the Reception year.
We are looking for passionate and motivated teachers to join us and be members of our brilliant team.
Experience and knowledge of child development and special educational needs and disabilities and the provision required to best meet their needs is important and crucial to the role. Good communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of daily challenges are essential. You will be part of an outstanding team who inspire others to create exceptional provision for young children.
