Test Valley Borough Council are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and professional individual to join a forward thinking community engagement team to cover a period of maternity leave.
The overall purpose of this role is to be actively involved in supporting communities by assisting them to identify, prioritise and resolve issues that are important to them. The successful candidate will do this through bringing community networks and partners together, along with tools and resources to promote a joined up way of working.
This role has an additional focus on children and young people through working with partners and by ensuring that young peoples’ voices are listened to, empowering them to take an active role in their own communities.
We have a diverse and varied workload, therefore, it is vital that you are able to be flexible and self motivated. You will work closely with Councillors, internal and external partners as well as all areas of the community.
If you have outstanding communication skills and are passionate about having a positive impact on the Test Valley community you will be an excellent addition to our team.
