Head of Property Services

You’ll be our go-to senior leader across a huge range of activity, including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, estates works and asset management. This spans two London boroughs – Newham and Havering – and you’ll play a central role in the strategic development of our service in both areas. That means turning your hand to diverse projects such as digital development, commercial negotiations and investments.
On top of this, you’ll lead around 26 individual team members across four key departments and manage a combined budget in the tens of millions. It’s about taking these resources and using them to achieve new levels of quality throughout our services. Whether it’s creating new plans for asset management, expanding our data capabilities or building strong teams, you’ll spearhead an effective, customer-first and value-for-money organisation.
What you’ll bring to the table is significant and wide-ranging experience across property services, local government and senior leadership. You’ll be equally confident managing a complex portfolio or driving strategic change and service improvement, always leading by example and pushing others towards high performance. You’ll be a natural communicator and collaborator.
